SUNDAY AFTERNOON YOUTH THEATRE
SEPT to DEC 2015 About the Panto This year, Crowborough’s community pantomime is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, produced by the Crow Players with a youth cast trained and rehearsed by WyW Theatre. About the Panto Directors We are very lucky to have exciting, youthful talent looking after the on-stage elements of the panto this year (with help from some old-timers behind the scenes). Director, Alex, played a hugely entertaining comedic role in last year's Babes in the Wood panto, coming to the Crow Players with experience and training both as an actor and in technical theatre. Assistant Director and DSM, Charlotte is a talented performer and creative crew member of three of the Crow Players’ pantos, having played both the principal boy and Co-principal girl (though not in the same show!). Charlotte has also been involved on stage and off in productions for several theatre groups. The Youth Cast and Adult Cast The Adult Cast is aged 12 or over. This cast is formally auditioned on the 3rd and 6th September at Crowborough Community Centre (see www.thecrowplayers.com for more information). The Youth Cast is aged from school age to 18. There are no formal auditions and anyone who wants to be involved in the youth cast can be. Everyone is very welcome to take part and there will be speaking parts for all who want them. If you would like to join WyW but don't want to be in the panto, or are worried about the level of commitment involved, you can still join us. See the FAQs for further information. There are two free workshops for the youth cast on the 3rd (*) and 6th September. Find out more on the info pages listed at the top of this page. |
